Return & Refund Policy — Éire Creations
At Éire Creations, each order is prepared with care and we want you to be happy with your purchase. Please read our returns and refund policy before placing your order.
Personalised & Custom-Made Items
As personalised and custom-made products are created specifically for you, they cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded simply because you change your mind.
This includes products personalised with names, dates, photographs, wording, colours, designs or other details requested by the customer.
Please check all names, dates, spellings, photographs and other personalisation details carefully before submitting your order. Éire Creations cannot be held responsible for errors in information supplied or approved by the customer.
This does not affect your statutory consumer rights where an item is faulty, damaged or not as described. Personalised goods remain covered by these rights.
Non-Personalised Items
For eligible non-personalised products purchased online, you may have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it under Irish and EU consumer law.
Please contact us within this period if you wish to make a return. Items should be returned unused and, where reasonably possible, in their original condition and packaging.
Unless the product is faulty or incorrect, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the item.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please include your order number and clear photographs showing the item, packaging and any damage or fault. This helps us resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, an appropriate remedy may include a repair, replacement or refund. Where a faulty item needs to be returned, Éire Creations will cover the appropriate return cost.
Under Irish consumer law, customers have specific rights regarding faulty goods, including a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days in applicable circumstances. Nothing in this policy limits those statutory rights.
Damage Caused After Delivery
We cannot provide a refund or replacement where an item has been damaged through misuse, accidental damage after delivery, improper handling or normal wear and tear.
Colours & Product Appearance
Please be aware that colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device. As many of our products are handmade or individually produced, there may also be very slight variations between products. These minor variations are not considered faults where the product otherwise matches its description.
Order Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
Personalised orders often enter production quickly. Once work has begun on a personalised or custom-made product, we may be unable to accept a change-of-mind cancellation. This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
Approved Personalised Designs
Where we provide a design proof for approval, it is the customer's responsibility to check all wording, spelling, dates, photographs and other personalised details before approval.
Once a design has been approved and produced, we cannot provide a refund or replacement for an error that appeared in the approved proof and was supplied or approved by the customer. This does not affect your statutory rights if the finished product does not match the approved design or is otherwise faulty.
Returns
Please contact us before returning an item so we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
Do not return an item without contacting us first, particularly if it is damaged or faulty.
Refunds
Where a refund is due, it will be issued to the original payment method in accordance with applicable consumer law. Processing times after a refund is issued may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict any rights you have under Irish or EU consumer law.
